Overview
In some cases, you may want to trigger Carrier Rules based on custom options set on the product. To do this, you’ll need to enable Custom Option-based Carrier Rules, which can be achieved by following the steps below.
Setup
This will walk you through how to enable the use of Custom Options as Carrier Rule condition
- You’ll want to go to ShipperHQ–>Carrier Rules–>Rule Settings–>Filter Based On–>Custom Options Type to ‘Yes’–>Apply
This capability can be combined with any other Conditions on your carrier rule to make this apply in the specific scenario you need it to apply. Additionally, you can discount, override/set, or hide certain shipping options on specific days using other Actions.
