No Rates Returning
Overview:
If no shipping rates are showing at checkout, here are common reasons and how to resolve them.
Checklist: Why No Rates Are Returning

Missing Item Weights

Live rate carriers require item weights. If the entire order lacks weight—even if boxed—rates won't return.

Shipping Rule Conflicts

Multiple rules might be overlapping or conflicting, unintentionally blocking all methods.

Shipping Group Restrictions

If items in the cart belong to different shipping groups, check the "Restrict to Specific Shipping Methods" and "Restrict to Specific Destination" setting under the Optional tab. Incompatible method restrictions or out of Shipping Zone addresses can prevent rates from showing.

Table Rate Issues

Does the Table Rate return a method for each item in order?
- If a table rate applies to one item but not another, no rates will return at all.
- Does the Table Rate return for the Shipping Zone, Value, Weight?
- If not, no rates will return.

- Address Issues
- Does the City/State match the Zip Code?
- Some live rate carriers are strict about this, if the Zip Code does not match the State or City, they can deny the request and respond with an error instead
- Does the City/State match the Zip Code?
