FedEx API Transition to REST: What ShipperHQ Merchants Need to Know
FedEx is moving to a new set of RESTful APIs. This article explains what that means for your ShipperHQ integration and what steps you may need to take.
Overview
FedEx is currently transitioning from their legacy APIs to a new RESTful API platform. ShipperHQ has not fully migrated to these new APIs yet—except for Address Validation, which already uses the new system. We plan to migrate all FedEx services to the RESTful APIs well before FedEx's final cutoff date.
What This Means for You
During the transition, you may need to re-authenticate or re-authorize your FedEx account in ShipperHQ.
We’ll notify you when and if action is required. These updates are account-specific, and not every account will need to take immediate steps.
