Show or Hide Dimensional Info on Magento Order Comments

Display or hide shipping package details in Magento order comments to streamline order management

Overview

You can control whether ShipperHQ package details appear in the comments section of Magento order details. This helps streamline order management by showing only the information your team needs.

Note: Dimensional Packing must be enabled in ShipperHQ before adjusting this setting.

Steps

  1. In ShipperHQ, go to Advanced Features → Dimensional Packing.

  2. Click Advanced.

  3. Set Show Package Information in Order Comments to Yes or No, depending on whether you want package details displayed in Magento order comments.

  4. Click Apply to save your changes.

  5. Synchronize Magento with ShipperHQ to ensure the setting updates correctly.

Check the Magento Order Details Page

  • In your Magento Admin Panel, go to Sales → Orders.

  • Open an order processed after the setting was changed.

  • If Show Package Information in Order Comments is set to Yes, you’ll see the package details listed in the Comments section at the bottom of the order page.
