Can customers select In-Store Pickup before/without entering a shipping address at checkout?
In-Store Pickup requires a shipping address to be entered before ShipperHQ can return any shipping options, including pickup. ShipperHQ returns rates in response to a Rate Request initiated by your eCommerce platform — and that request is only triggered once a shipping address is provided at checkout. There is no setting in ShipperHQ that will surface In-Store Pickup or any other shipping option before that request is received.
If customers are skipping address entry to find pickup options, consider adding a note at checkout explaining that an address is required to display available shipping and pickup options.
