Can a Single ShipperHQ Account Connect to Multiple eCommerce Platforms?

Overview

ShipperHQ accounts are platform specific. A single ShipperHQ account cannot be connected to more than one eCommerce platform at the same time.

For example, if you are using ShipperHQ with Adobe Commerce (Magento) and want to apply the same shipping rules to a Shopify store, each platform will require its own ShipperHQ account.

Why a Single Account Cannot Support Multiple Platforms

Each eCommerce platform integrates with ShipperHQ differently and requires a platform specific connection.

Platform Specific Integrations

• Shopify & BigCommerce connects to ShipperHQ through the ShipperHQ app installed directly in the eCommerce Platform.

• For Adobe Commerce Magento, ShipperHQ is not installed directly within the Magento database. Instead, ShipperHQ connects to the store through the ShipperHQ modules, which communicates with the Magento platform using an API Key.

Because the different eCommerce Platforms rely on different integrations, APIs, and data structures, a single ShipperHQ account cannot serve multiple platforms simultaneously.

For example:

• A ShipperHQ account connected to Shopify cannot also be connected to an Adobe Commerce store.

• A ShipperHQ account connected to Adobe Commerce cannot be reused for Shopify.

Using ShipperHQ Across Multiple Platforms

If you plan to use ShipperHQ with more than one eCommerce platform, you will need:

• A separate ShipperHQ account for each platform

• Independent platform integrations for each store

While rules and configurations can be manually recreated or copied conceptually, they cannot be shared automatically between accounts.
