Overview
ShipperHQ has the ability to account for availability date on individual products when calculating calendar based rates or delivery dates, allowing merchants to open up their store to support pre-order, backorders, or sold-out ordering.
Configuring in Magento 1/2
On both Magento 1 and Magento 2, you can set the product attribute ‘Availability Date’ (attribute code is shipperhq_availability_date). This indicates the date the product will be available.
If you don’t see this attribute on your shipping tab, you can follow these instructions to add the attribute to your products. ShipperHQ will use this date when calculating the available dispatch date for the cart or order. And, it will be reflected in the available delivery dates.
